As part of the Digital Technology curriculum, students in Year 5 and Year 2 are learning about the different parts of a computer. Year 2 are learning about the basic parts of computers, while Year 5 are learning about how computers work (inputs, outputs, software and hardware).
This week, students have worked in small groups to build a computer using LEGO. While building, students have demonstrated problem solving skills, creativity, resilience, concentration, collaboration and communication with their peers. I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to the students discuss their creations and I was intrigued to see how many ways the students created the different parts, particularly the keyboard!
