On Tuesday, 24th April we held our whole school
ANZAC Ceremony. Our ceremony was hosted
by our four student leaders, with a range of special guests including some
special singing performances. Every class made and laid a wreath during the
ceremony at school whilst accompanied by beautiful duets from our year five and
six students, Raine, Emily, Chelsea, Meesha, Brooke and Lucy. Ashanti learned
and performed the New Zealand national anthem with support from the small vocal
performance groups.
Mr Quinn, our Principal, said “I am so proud of our student
leaders Eden, Maddie, Daniel and Alby who led our school Anzac Day
commemoration parade, with special guests Sergeant Michael McCallum, Retired
Brigadier Rob Walford, and Miss Joanna Forgeard.”
