Our school provides a nurturing and supportive environment for your children where all children have the opportunity to reach their full potential. A range of extra-curricular programs allow children to participate in activities outside of the classroom, make new friends, develop new interests, and strengthen their social and intellectual growth.
Student leadership opportunities
Children in Year 6 lead the school as our senior year, as well as in a range of specialised leadership positions. Children are encouraged to apply for positions such as School Captain, Sports House Captain, Music Captain and Prefect.
Children in Year 4, 5 and 6 can apply for the role of Class Representative and sit on the Student Council. Once elected to the council, children can then apply for the positions of President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.
Children in Year 4 can apply for Library Monitor positions.
Performing arts: Biennial school musical
Every two years, our school writes, produces and stages an original musical, involving students from Year 3 to Year 6.
All students develop greater confidence and skills of focus and commitment as well as the love of music and performing that they can carry with them throughout their life.
Instrumental Music Program
We offer an Instrumental Music Program for students in Years 4, 5 and 6 for brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. Lessons occur during the school day.
School choir and small vocal performance groups
Our school offers an extensive choral program for students. Children from Year 3 to Year 6 can audition to join one of the school’s large choirs, or one of the smaller small vocal performance groups, Belle Voce or Rebel Clefs. Children rehearse during break times and perform in and around our community.
Interest clubs
A range of special interest clubs are run across the school by our dedicated staff. Children can choose to attend on a regular or one-off basis. Clubs can include Chess Club, Athletics Club, Drama Club, Mathletics Club, Garden Club, Craft Club, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Club. Clubs run at break times and before school.
