Curriculum at Bli Bli State School
At Bli Bli State School, we are committed to delivering a high quality, engaging and inclusive curriculum that supports every child to achieve success, develop confidence and build strong foundations for life long learning. Our teaching and learning programs are aligned to Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum and are collaboratively planned by teachers and curriculum leaders to ensure students experience purposeful, connected and challenging learning across all year levels.
Students engage in learning across the Australian Curriculum learning areas, including:

We place a strong emphasis on the explicit teaching of literacy and numeracy, recognising these as the foundations for success across all areas of learning. Our teachers use evidence-informed teaching practices, including structured literacy approaches and explicit instruction, to support students to become confident readers, writers and learners.
At Bli Bli State School, we believe every child can succeed when teaching is responsive, engaging and supportive. Staff work collaboratively to plan learning experiences that challenge, extend and support students at their individual point of need. Instrumental Music Program
Students in Years 4 to 6 can participate in our Instrumental Music Program, with opportunities to learn strings, brass, woodwind and percussion instruments.
The program allows students to develop musical skills, discipline, teamwork and confidence while participating in rehearsals, performances and community events.
Our curriculum is further enriched through opportunities in the arts, sport, leadership, community partnerships and technology enhanced learning experiences.
