The Bli Bli State School Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association plays a vital role in supporting our students, staff and wider school community.
The P&C provides families with an opportunity to become actively involved in school life, contribute to decision-making and help create opportunities that enrich the educational experience of all students.
Whether you are able to volunteer regularly, assist occasionally or simply attend a meeting, every contribution helps strengthen our school community.
What Does the P&C Do?
The P&C works in partnership with the school to support a wide range of initiatives and services, including:
- Supporting school events and celebrations
- Fundraising projects and community activities
- Managing the Uniform Shop
- Supporting the Tuckshop
- Overseeing the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service
- Providing feedback and input into school initiatives and priorities
- Enhancing opportunities and resources for students
Funds raised through P&C activities are reinvested into projects, facilities and programs that directly benefit our students.
Everyone Can Contribute
Being involved in the P&C doesn't require a large time commitment. Many parents contribute in different ways throughout the year, whether that be volunteering at an event, assisting with a fundraising activity, helping in the Uniform Shop or Tuckshop, or sharing professional skills and expertise.
We encourage every family to consider how they might contribute to our school community, no matter how big or small the role.
P&C Meetings
P&C meetings provide an opportunity for parents and community members to:
Stay informed about school initiatives and projects
- Contribute ideas and feedback
- Connect with other families
- Support decision-making that benefits students
Meetings are generally held Wednesday evenings, Week 3 and Week 7 of each term 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Meeting dates and agendas are communicated through school communication channels.
